Anna Halpine describes a moment at age 21 where she found herself in the silent majority and decided to take the bold step to speak up. In doing so, she created disruption at the 1999 United Nations conference on Population and Development. She courageously questioned proposed policies on abortion as a human right, sexual rights for children, and the deletion of parental rights. She shares how she developed an understanding of the Policy Cycle Framework and how she employs it in her work with two organizations she founded: the World Youth Alliance and the FEMM Foundation, both committed to advocating for human dignity and improving women’s health.
