There are diverse views on the best way to make disciples, often falling into three camps: Biblical Education, which prioritizes Bible literacy; Leadership Development, which focuses on training influential leaders; and Inner Transformation, which emphasizes loving God and abiding in Him. Each approach has both strengths and weaknesses, and whereas we tend to gravitate toward what shaped us personally, Holistic Discipleship helps guard against imbalance, making disciples who are biblically rooted, emotionally mature, and missionally engaged.
