Emotional health is essential to spiritual maturity and leadership because God created human feelings as the voice of the heart to guide us toward relationship, truth, and dependency on Him. Rather than suppressing difficult emotions like grief, fear, or anger, leaders must learn to identify and express them constructively. By acknowledging our vulnerability and emotional pain, we align ourselves with the model of Jesus, who fully experienced human sorrow, and we open the door to genuine spiritual transformation and authentic connection with others.
